Are My Choices Making Me Better

Are My Choices Making Me Better?

As we enter this new week, I encourage us to take some time to reflect and look inward. Not just at where we are going, but at how we are living, the choices we are making, the people we are allowing into our circle, the condition of our souls, and the impact our decisions are having on our lives and the lives of others.

These are some of the areas of reflection and inner work I will personally be focusing on this week. I invite you to join me on this journey. Let’s give ourselves permission to slow down, be honest with ourselves, pray, reflect, make necessary adjustments, and continue becoming the women God has called us to be.

Sometimes we become so focused on moving forward that we forget to ask ourselves whether the direction we are moving in is actually helping us become who God has called us to be.

Ask yourself:

Are my choices making me better, wiser, healthier, and more aligned with God’s purpose for my life?

Is my circle healthy? Are the people around me encouraging growth, accountability, peace, faith, and wisdom, or are some relationships continually draining me, distracting me, or pulling me away from who I am becoming?

Is my soul prospering? Beyond what I am accomplishing outwardly, am I growing spiritually? Do I have peace? Am I nurturing my relationship with God and allowing Him to work on the parts of me that still need healing, maturity, and transformation?

Are my decisions leaving a positive impact? Do my words, actions, habits, and choices reflect the kind of woman I desire to be and the legacy I want to leave behind?

Growth requires reflection. Sometimes we have to be willing to examine ourselves, make adjustments, establish healthier boundaries, release what no longer aligns with God’s purpose for our lives, and have the courage to choose differently.

Proverbs 31 reminds us of a woman whose life reflects strength, wisdom, character, and confidence in God:

“Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.” Proverbs 31:25 KJV

That is the kind of woman I desire to continue becoming. Not a perfect woman, but a woman who is growing. A woman who is becoming stronger and wiser. A woman who is intentional about her choices, protective of the condition of her soul, mindful of her relationships, and conscious of the impact her life leaves behind.

This week, let’s not only ask God to change our circumstances. Let’s ask Him to search our hearts, give us wisdom, correct what needs correcting, strengthen what needs strengthening, and help us make choices that produce good fruit.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 1:2 KJV

May this be a week of intentional choices, healthy connections, spiritual growth, wisdom, and positive impact. May our lives not only look fruitful on the outside, but may our souls truly prosper from the inside out.

Here’s to becoming stronger, wiser, healthier, more intentional, and more deeply rooted in Jesus. 🤎🙏🏾

Let’s grow together.

Always With Love,
Waydia 🤎
