Live Intentionally in 2025: A Message to Women of Faith
Ladies, as we step into this new year, I want to encourage you to live intentionally in 2025. Prioritize your spiritual, emotional, mental, and social well-being. Take care of your whole self, and don’t be afraid to make the changes necessary to walk fully in the purpose God has for your life.
Protect Your Peace
Remove yourself from toxic friendships, relationships, and environments. You are not called to remain in spaces that drain your soul, distort your peace, or hinder your growth. However, if you are married and facing challenges, please seek spiritual and professional counsel. Marriage is sacred, and God desires restoration, healing, and wholeness in your covenant.
Proverbs 4:23 reminds us, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Guard your heart by setting boundaries and choosing peace over chaos.
Do the Inner Work
Sisters, it’s time to confront what you’ve been running from. Do the inner work of acknowledging and healing the little girl within you who was hurt, rejected, abandoned, or misunderstood. God doesn’t want you to live from a place of brokenness. He wants you to experience freedom, joy, and wholeness.
Psalm 147:3 says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Allow God to do the work in you. Stop running from relationship to relationship in search of love and validation. Instead, run into the arms of your heavenly Father, who sees you, knows you, and loves you unconditionally.
Discover who you are in God’s eyes. “You are fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). Walk in that truth and let it shape your identity.
Be a Blessing to Others
Once you’ve begun your healing journey, pay it forward. Show up in your spheres of influence as the most authentic, healed version of yourself. Spread beauty, kindness, truth, and love to everyone you encounter. Be a source of strength and hope to the women around you.
Proverbs 31:26 says, “She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” Be that woman. Speak life, encouragement, and truth into the hearts of others.
Be the sister who prays, encourages, inspires, uplifts, and adds value to the women in your life. Compliment freely, love generously, and speak truth in love.
Flee from gossip circles. Pray for those who gossip, but don’t participate in it. “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up” (Ephesians 4:29). Choose to be a builder, not a breaker.
Stay Connected to Community
Surround yourself with friends who inspire you, challenge you, and uplift you spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We were not meant to do life alone. The Bible reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17).
Pray for the women in your life. You never know what silent battles they may be fighting. Some are healing from wounds inflicted by others, while others are battling scars they’ve inflicted on themselves. Regardless, your sisters need your prayers, not your judgment. They need your kindness, discernment, and patience, not your criticism.
Be a Light
In Matthew 5:16, Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Go out and leave your mark on the world. Be a light in every room you enter. Leave women better than you found them. Uplift, encourage, and always remind them of their worth in Christ. Be a reflection of God’s love, grace, and mercy.
A Final Blessing
Peace, love, and blessings to each of you in this new season. May God continue to heal, strengthen, and empower you to walk boldly in your purpose. May you be a vessel of His love and a beacon of hope to every sister you encounter.
“May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you” (Numbers 6:24-25).
Now go and leave your mark on the world!
